1982 Jeep CJ Description

1982 Jeep CJ5 Golden Eagle tribute. Please take the time to view all of the pictures in the gallery. I have dozens more as well if needed.
This Jeep has received a frame-off, nut an bolt restoration. Less than 300 miles have been put on since its completion. The tub has been rhino lined, and all rubber drain holes have been retained. Upon close inspection, you will notice most, if not all of the original pinch welds. The inner tub and body retain the original welds to the brackets and structural parts. This would suggest that this Jeep started out with a solid foundation for restoration. The Copper Metallic Brown paint is in excellent driver+ condition. Very few flaws to be seen, if any. There are no runs, or sagging anywhere to be found. All surfaces, including under the hood, firewall, body to frame mounts, and inner fenders, etc were given the same attention to detail resulting in bright, shiny finish.
Taking a look at the frame and chassis, you will see that it has been fitted with all new poly bushings, and body mounts. New shocks were fitted to the refurbished leaf springs and axles. The frame was blasted to bare metal and coated in a stone chip black finish. The tires are brand new and show wear commensurate to the 300 miles shown on the odometer.
The interior has been restored, down to the seat frames. Those were painted black when the new upholstery was being refitted. As seen in the pictures, the odometer, volt meter, and oil pressure gauges are all new, and function as designed. The interior metal finishes are painted to match the outside. A new dash and glove box were fitted after the respray. A brand new tan bikini top by Best Top is included in the sale.
The 304 V8 engine is said to be original to this Jeep, however, I do not have any information to support that claim. The engine has been overhauled and runs exceptionally well. It starts from cold very easily, with just the turn of the key. No smoke, or funny noises come from the engine. Oil pressure is strong, and the cooling system keeps a steady temperature, even in this hot California climate. Aftermarket headers were added, as well as side pipes, with the spent exhaust exiting just before the rear tires. There is a slight exhaust leak coming from the left header at the rear bank. The 4WD and transfer case are very tight and tidy. All function like a Jeep should.
Please note that there is NO SMOG EQUIPMENT on this vehicle. As such, the new owner will have to relocate this Jeep to a state, or country that does not have emissions regulations for a vehicle of this age, or make the necessary alterations to pass CA emissions. It CAN NOT be registered in California, until all emissions equipment is installed.
This vehicle was purchased in Ohio, where emissions do not apply to it due to age. It was brought to California and has been used very little since. It will be sold with a clean Ohio title.
Please only bid on this Jeep if you understand the terms and conditions of the sale.I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the auctions end.The balance of payment is due within 7 days of the auctions end. Balance of payment can be made by: cash in person, cashiers check or wire transfer. The vehicle will not leave until funds are verified.I can store the Jeep for an agreed upon amount of time, while shipping/transport is arranged, as long as it has been paid in full per the auction terms. Please ask any questions.
