1976 Jeep CJ5, INCREDIBLE Stainless Steel Frame, Built Motor & Trans
1976 Jeep CJ Description
This is an incredibly unique setup and one of a kind. This thing gets looks from anyone and everyone...ALL THE TIME. It is a 1976 CJ5 with a custom stainless steel frame. I am not sure who the builder is, but I know he was motivated case this thing is unreal.BODY- 2 piece Fiberglass with custom hood design.MOTOR -Less than 100 miles on rebuild, Mild built 327, Edlebrock Mild Cam, Edlebrock Mild heads, and Edlebrock carb, MSD Ignition, Heddman headers. The head, cam, and carb is the street performance kit from Edlebrock. (if I emphasized something wrong please bear with me as I am not a gear head)TRANS- Mild built Turbo 350AXLES- Dana 30 front with AMC 20 rear, recently rebuilt, single piece shaft with brand new warn hubs, sporting what I believe to be a mid 3 on the gear ratio. NOT locked as far as I know but the few times I have seen it, spins posi. So possibly Limited Slip.BRAKES- Disc break conversion less than 100 miles ago.RADIO- Bluetooth capable, sounds great even as higher RPMS, done 100 miles ago.
If ya'll are seeing an issue with the VIN # it is because as well it custom. In PA they got whats called a "corrected" vin. When the original builder of the frame did this he had "station wagon" selected as the frame name. What this does is allows for insurance to be extremely low. I live in Houston area where vehicle insurance is very high and this is 10-15/month. I have full coverage on jeep that if something were to happen, the jeep would be replaced with parts current value, which in turn would create a large refund because of the crate motor, fiberglass body, custom stainless frame, ect.
The pictures show most everything else. It is almost laughable how new everything on this jeep is, The frame and body are the oldest and they have a couple thousand miles on them, Rebuilt motor, trans, and axles have all been done within the last 500 miles.
Serious buyers only. This jeep runs like a top and nothing needs done. It is incredibly unique, and a jeep of this caliber would cost 50,000+ in parts, build, and to get it running as smooth as this one.
I am selling local as well as trade offers and can end auction at any time do to sale locally.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO MAKE OFFER, WORST I CAN SAY IS NO.
