This Jeep is gorgeous, it’s in incredible shape (which is rare with a 33-year old Jeep), it’s been really-well taken care of and it’s been garage kept since I’ve owned it (March 2004). Any work done on it has always been done right, in fact almost all of the work done has been performed by either Collins Brothers Jeep or 4-Wheel Parts. It has minor imperfections that any non-mall crawler would have, including scratches, dings and a nick in the windshield. The title is listed as “salvaged” and I don’t have a clue why, as the frame and body are in excellent shape, the frame is not bent and it’s never been wrecked (at least since I’ve owned it), rolled or totaled. It DOES NOT cite “salvage” anywhere on the title, I’ve had zero issues getting this Jeep insured and it’s never had an issue passing annual inspection. The person I purchased it from (a NYC Police Officer) had the same issue when he sold it to me back in 2004 and I have his original posting to validate this. I’m perfectly fine with a comprehensive inspection at a local mechanic prior to purchase at any mechanic of the buyer’s choice.
This truck is beautiful and it’s in great shape and a rare find and someone is getting one hell of a beautiful Jeep. Call with any questions or concerns and serious inquiries only please. Local pickup in Dallas, Texas, or the buyer is fully responsible for transport. Best of luck and thank you.
