1979 Jeep CJ Description

Selling my 1979 Jeep CJ5 with Meyer Hard top and doors. Jeep runs and drives in its current condition and would make someone a great little 4x4 or hunting rig.
The engine was swapped to a Chevrolet 250ci I6 (1978 model) by the previous owner, it is all stock besides a Weber 32/36 carburetor with electric choke. Engine recently had a full cooling system overhaul with new head gasket, water pump, thermostat, radiator w/ electric fan, and heater core.
Transmission is a T18 4 speed, shifts great, new fluids this summer.
Dana 30 front axle was rebuilt this summer with new bearings and seals. Dana 44 in the rear. 4.27 gear ratios. New mile marker hubs

The body of this jeep has some rust holes in the driver and passenger foot wells, front driver fender, top of passenger rear wheel well. There is some pitting in the rear drivers quarter. Jeep has been in Oregon most of it's life, only 1 winter in Utah.
The rear of the jeep had a tailgate modification by previous owner. Angle iron was welded in and a tailgate bolted on.
Windshield frame and glass is new along with the 31x10.5r15 mud terrain tires.
This Jeep is a running and driving project, most of the accessories work with exception to the speedometer and odometer (true mileage unknown). Some of the gauge lights are not working either. It leaks power steering fluid from the steering gear box also. Heat, wipers, driving lights and turn signals all work.
