1981 Jeep CJ SCRAMBLER Description

Here is a nice 1981 Jeep Scrambler for someone to drive and restore as you go.

The truck has its original big six cylinder engine and it runs very well. This truck is factory loaded! It has a rare automatic transmission, factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Disc brakes, Tilt Wheel, Factory Tachometer and Clock.

The body is very straight and little rust issues. The paint holds a shine and looks good, but is far from perfect. The original seats are in good shape and all the glass is good. The top comes completely off and the windshield does fold down.

The tires are BFG All Terrains and have lots of tread. The Jeep comes with one extra wheel and tire. The steering is tight, not sloppy and we believe the original miles are 112k.

The Jeep will need minor repairs. The brakes stop well, but the pedal is low. It comes with new shoes for the rear axle. The tach and clock are not currently working, the belt is off the AC compressor etc.

Please feel free to call Hawkeye Wills at 210-548-1310 with any questions you might have. The Jeep is in San Antonio Texas and comes with a clear Texas Title.
