1979 Jeep CJ -- Description

A go-anywhere 1979 Jeep CJ7 with V8 power and 4x4 prowess is always appealing. And it gets even better at this value price. The combination of red and black is always appealing. The paint is far from perfect, but that's part of the fun of owning a Jeep. After all, going off the beaten path means getting dirty. It's more about the fun of exploring than worrying about stones or branches. This wears that personality nicely, and so... it makes you look like an adventurer even when in-town. Plus, you have a full soft top and soft doors to keep you enclosed when you want. There are even nice upgrades, like the tow ball on the rear and a bright LED light bar to lead the way up front. Inside is that same rugged attitude with the right additions. There's an updated pair of bucket sets upfront finished in a durable and taut black vinyl. These coordinate nicely with the rear seat, dash, and roll bar. You get the classic Jeep grippy steering wheel, tall stick shift for the three-speed manual, and large central speedometer. But you'll also spot more gauges than you get in many Jeeps, including a very handy tach. Under the hood is proper V8 power. It provides the right package to complement the two-speed 4x4 transfer case. So you have plenty of low-end torque for rock crawling or big power out of the sand. Even when you're just in-town, the power steering and front disc brakes make this a fine choice. And no matter where you are, the extra rumble of the side pipe exhaust is hypnotic. This CJ7 for those who need a cool classic Jeep to get them out into nature, or since it's so value priced, it can even be a great place to start a restoration project. It's all up to you, but only if you call now!
