Lots more pictures here:Over 100 more photos of my Grand Wagoneer HERE
I bought this off my brother in January 2019, who purchased it from the original owner a few years prior. The truck has been repainted in Hunter Green over a tan leather interior and is powered by a rebuilt 360ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and Selec-Trac four-wheel drive. Service performed to pass California emissions testing in November 2019 is said to have included cleaning the intake plenum and throttle chamber, and replacing the air filter. Modifications include a lift kit, underbody storage boxes, a Pioneer touchscreen head unit, an alarm system, and an aftermarket rearview mirror with a backup camera that is always recording and saving video to a USB drive onboard, this is great if you're in an accident and need to prove fault or if someone hits you in a carpark, it's all on film! My Grand Wagoneer shows 235k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a rear cargo cover, and a clean California title in my name.
The truck underwent a color change from red to its current shade of Hunter Green under prior ownership, and wood-style paneling is featured on the fenders, doors, and tailgate. The rear window operates intermittently from the interior switch, and the rear window-washer nozzle is nonfunctional. But the rear window always works with the key in the rear lock.
Factory 15″ wheels are wrapped in 31″ x 10.5″ Bridgestone Dueler tires all around. A lift kit was fitted under prior ownership, and painted steel running boards with lockable underbody storage boxes have also been installed.
The cabin is trimmed in tan leather with cloth inserts. The driver’s seat and the front center armrest are said to have been reupholstered during the seller’s ownership. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, electric windows, central locking with an aftermarket alarm system, air conditioning, a Pioneer head unit with a retractable touchscreen and Apple CarPlay functionality, and a Chicom rearview mirror with an integrated display for a backup camera.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer, a digital clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows just over 235k miles.
The 360ci AMC V8 has been rebuilt twice in its lifetime by Tony’s Motor Service of Los Angeles, California (I have hundreds of receipts of every service this truck has EVER had), and power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac NP229 viscous transfer case. Service performed in November 2019 consisted of cleaning the intake plenum and throttle chamber, changing the oil, and replacing the air filter. The battery was also replaced in January 2020. The engine compartment was not refinished in Hunter Green along with the rest of the vehicle.
This truck passed it's CA smog test in November last year so it's good to go for two more years till it needs to be checked again.
Diamond-plate and steel lock boxes are mounted below the running boards.
