Jeep CJ-8 “Scrambler”. This is a trail Jeep.
Frame-up restoration in 1999 included drive train from a 1969 Wagoneer. Buick 350 with T-18 Transmission. Power steering and power brakes. Professionally re-painted in 2015. New fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems in 2019 including new Edelbrock Carburetor.
33” BFMTs are pretty worn but functional. 2” body lift and small suspension lift. Reversed shackles in front provide very smooth ride. Model 20 rear-end with one-piece axles. Locker in Rear.
Body is in good condition with little rust. The black diamond plate in the picture is NOT hiding anything, but is installed to protect the body and break-up the red color. Tub is fully lined with Rhino Lining. Half hard top and doors are included. Locking center console, shoulder & lap seat belts, Jerry cans and holders are included.
Custom Schedule 40 Steel bumpers protect the body and support the WARN 8274 winch. Yes, that’s the one! Receiver for trailer hitch in front and rear. Custom spare tire carrier in rear, and storage bin in floor of the bed.
An excellent trail Jeep that has a few years on it. It has been mostly parked in my garage for the past 10 years. I also have bikini top, manuals, winch attachments, and spare parts that can be included with the Jeep purchase. Title is clear and describes this vehicle as a “1976 Jeep CJ”.
Currently located in Northern Virginia. Delivery is negotiable.
