1980 Jeep Wagoneer Original Survivor RARE and in Great condition.
1980 Jeep Wagoneer Description
This is an All Original Jeep Wagoneer. The SUV that was the father of ALL modern SUVs. They are very collectible and its hard to find a clean all original one. This jeep was purchased originally in Oklahoma and brought to Lake City Colorado and then to Grand Junction Colorado, all by the same family. It has 123k mile on it with only a few thousand being added in the last 10 years. The Paint is original(scratches and all) with the exception of minor touch up over the years. LET ME BE VERY CLEAR... This jeep is 36 years old. Please do not expect perfection... that being said, I think it is in great shape. The seats are original with the exception of the front seat having a single panel replaced with the originalDetroitbody cloth. The carpet is new. The Drivers floor had a repair panel installed due to some minorrust (from a leaky windshield). Also the rear quarter on the passenger side has some rust repaired (an area the size of a lemon). There was also a dent repaired on the rear drivers quarter at the bottom due to backing into a rock. The rear bumper has been replaced with one off a later model because the previous owner was concerned about corrosion on the original one( I have the original one and it is included with the Wagoneer). The Motor is the Original 360 V-8. It has been upgraded with an HEI distributor as well as Throttle Body Fuel Injection. The original Distributor and 2bbl Carb are included as well. The engine runs good especially when warmed up... There is a very slight lifter noise. The transmission shifts perfectly and all else drives as expected. The air Conditioner works great and still has R-12 refrigerant in it (I have 2 cans to go with the jeep). Comes with 4 new tires and include a Discount Tire Road hazard warrantee. The jeep has the original spare. Some pieces and parts have been replaced as any well maintained vehicle would have. PassedColoradoemissions just fine. The previous owner had replaced the radio with a "modern" CDplayer. I replaced that with a Vintage style radio that looks like an AM radio, but has modern features like AM/FM as well as an Aux in. Looks original but sounds better. If you would like a classic that is comfortable to drive, easy to own, and is a 4x4 the whole family can enjoy... I HAVE IT ADVERTISED LOCALLY FOR SALE. IF IT SELLS LOCALLY, I WILL REMOVE THE LISTING.
