For your consideration today is a 1986 American Motors Jeep CJ7 Renegade. This jeep is 100% ready to drive and needs nothing. No rust on this one as it came from California, rizona before I bought it. Original owners towed the Jeep with a motor home. I am the 3rd owner and have extensively restored this over the time I have had it. It parks in my garage and not driven in rain or snow as its a fun collector car for me. It has many upgrades that make it look and drive excellent. The jeeps original metallic brown paint was repainted with same but retains the original graphics and was clear coated, ondition is excellent. The Engine is a rebuilt replacement, he Transmission was rebuilt. Engine/Transmission, ngine bay and underside of jeep are clean and grunge-dirt-oil free. All 5 tires are new BFGoodrich 32".Interior is great. New Besttop with tint windows. New Carpet. Seats. Original Fold and Tumble Rear Seat.Never any accidents, ero Body Work ever done, ust an exterior repaint.Original Frame Paint is excellent Spare Tire Carrier and Rim Fully Rebuilt and Powder Coated.Air Conditioning is Rebuilt and Excellent.New Windshield.20 Gallon Poly Fuel Tank cleaned and all hoses replaced.
This CJ was built toward the end of the final production run in 1986 and was fitted with the Dana 44 rear axle when AMC ran out of the model 20 axles during this final production year.
