1988 Lancia Delta Integrale Description

1988 Red Lancia Delta Integrale 8v. 185 bhp all-wheel drive turbo charged HF Integrale. Prior owner purchased the car in 2009 in Italy and used it as a daily driver while in Italy and the UK. The engine was rebuilt in Italy in 2009 at 159,000km (98,800 miles) including a full top and bottom rebuild and new clutch. The car was painted in 2010, but is showing signs of wear with surface rust starting to appear in several places. Shows some small bumper damage currently and a small repaired accident in the front. The car has 220,000km (136,000 miles) and was being used as a occasional driver. However, on the last journey it started to run rough. Diagnosis points to a head gasket. No overheating, just some lack of compression between cylinders 2 and 3. Still have 100psi each and car is running and driving and runs through boost fine. Have a full maintenance history and receipts. That includes a servicing from Zagato Lancia in the UK Jan 2015 replacing the timing belt, bearings, pulleys and tensioner at 212,000kms. Rebuild transfer case as well. Small hole in exhaust down pipe at the flex joint. Loads of service. The interior is original and has an aftermarket stereo and needs some TLC with rips in the driver’s seat and head liner sagging and other minor wear and tear. Has a MO title which was filled out to us in CA. We could not register in CA, so car will come with MO title, CA transfer paperwork and notarized bill of sale. CA buyers note, you will have trouble registering the car and other states please check your local laws. This was no offered in US but was in imported and titled legally. Easy project for someone. Head gasket is a couple hundred dollars and not a terrible install. VIN is ZLA831AB000427540
My standard disclaimer/mantra for any car regardless of service or price: The car is sold with no warranty. You are buying a used car. Eventually every car will break, if you find one that doesn't please let me know. I do my ABSOLUTE BEST to describe accurately the shape of the truck, but keep in mind it is impossible to discuss every detail of a car for better or worse. I am not a dealer, just a guy who loves Lancia (among other cars) and hope to pass along my passion and fervor for these cars. That said if ever you encounter an issue I do my best to provide advice, direction or even parts if I have them. Please understand that it is a used project car and will have signs of use despite its service and restoration. That means please do not expect a showroom brand new car. Please only bid if you intend to buy. If you would like to have an Ebay 3rd party mechanic service check out the car I MORE than welcome it. Please have the car checked out before bidding and not after, if you intend to use that service. And please, if you would like to utilize this service, contact me with more than a couple days left in the auction so we can arrange schedules. Please check your local laws and registration procedures before buying. Buying over the internet can be scary sometimes! I get it, because I am an enthusiast too!! For that very reason, I am more than happy to answer every and any question you may so you know 100% what you are buying. But, please ask any and all questions ahead of purchase! It is impossible to list every pro and con of a car, I am not an inspection service, it is your responsibility as a buyer to do your due diligence and inspect the car. All sales are final, you are buying as-is, the sky is blue, etc, etc. Sorry to have to give the boring speech!
