1987 Land Rover Defender Description

VIN SALLDHAC7BA310822. This is a 1987 Land Rover Defender 110 military soft top. This was imported by me direct from the military of Defense release UK. This exceptional condition Land Rover has been my sons daily driver for a year. No mechanical problems. Starts first time every time. Well maintained. The photographs were taken Friday Feb 19. The odometer was correct, owever this is his daily driver so it will continue to accrue miles. The chassis is in superb condition as seen by the photos. The exterior of the truck is straight. The odd dink here and there. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere. The paint is olive drab green and as all military trucks were repainted and motors rebuilt with the Tithonus project upgrades this does have some paint flaking in a few spots. The tops of wings have elbow dents as does the bonnet. It is nearly 30 years old. This was a dry enviroment military vehicle. So no rot in the normal places. Footwells, attery box and all steel cappings in perfect shape. No rust. It has been upgraded with Wolf wheels and mirrors. The seats look fairly new. The canvas top has lots of patina, ut does not leak under normal situations, ut if buyer wants to pretty it up a new top would be prudent. Great for taking the dogs to the beach. Reason for selling. He needs something more economical and efficient for going to school in cold weather. Although it has a radio, here are no speakers hooked up. This has the thick Tithonus floor mat for sound deadening and comfort. Engine was rebuilt by military. Keep in mind this is Right Hand Drive, tandard steering. It is fun too drive.
