1986 Land Rover Defender 110 Description

SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! PLEASE CALL / MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARE BIDDING!
For sale is my 1986 Land Rover Defender 110. The motor and transmission were swapped to a 3.9 v8 mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission. The transmission was rebuilt in 2014 (Have receipts). Very rare combo for a 110 to be a v8 automatic -similar to an NAS model. The NAS had the 3.9 v8 (option) from 94-97 with automatic or manual transmissions. Furthermore, many more mechanics are able to work on this motor / transmission / transfer case, since it was in the USA for so long. Parts are also much easier and less expensive to obtain.
The transmission has only 3,209 miles on it since it was rebuilt! (Proof is in the receipt)
102,199 original miles. Brand new brake pads all around. Just changed all of the fluids (oil, brake, transmission, dif gear oil) She drips just a touch of oil - not sure from where. Just replaced the head gasket and put new rubber valve cover gaskets on as well.
The 3.9 fuel injected motor is super strong, and compared to the diesel counterpart, has a ton of power. 190 horsepower, so a ton of power is relative, but much more then a 200 tdi 110 hp. I get around 17 MPG on average. I do not drive it like it is stolen, but also do not drive like I am going blind. Normal everyday driving...
Transmission oil cooler out of a 2002 Range Rover. Electric fans for radiator also out of a 2002 Range rover. Got to keep everything running cool!
Power door locks, manual windows, heater blows exceptionally well. No Air conditioning, but could easily be added since it is a Range Rover engine.
Has a heated windshield and heated rear glass for defrost.
Tires have about 85% tread left.
There is a snorkel hook up spot - very easy to put it back on. I don't wade through rivers so I did not see it as needed, but I do have it and will send it with the Defender.
Any questions shoot me a message with your phone and I will call you and answer any questions you may have! Thanks for looking and happy bidding! 913-602-6018

**I put local pickup only for shipping but that is only because the forced me to put something and was rejecting a random number. I am more then happy to help with the logistics of shipping. No fixed price, however much it costs, or feel free to come pick her up in person! I have no doubts this Land Rover would make it to California and back.
