1965 Land Rover Series IIa 88 Description

1965 Land Rover Series IIa 88 for sale. Vehicle runs drives and stops but needs work to be usable. The frame is solid except for the outriggers, which will need to be replaced. It has a new galvanized quarter chassis and crossmember. This is bolted in but should be welded in properly. The bulkhead is solid except for a small spot at the bottom. The tool box has some rust in the bottom plate but the rest looks good. The engine and transmission run very well. Starter switch doesn't work so I just jump the solenoid to start. Wiring needs replaced. Brakes need work and the fuel tank has a hole in it, so it's running on a small auxiliary at the moment. Does not have the top and bows and the driver's floor plate is missing. It has all four back jump seats, but the front lower seat cushions are missing. I am using two of the rear cushions in the front as seen in the photos. Has the original Kodiak heater, not installed. Nice truck for the money to fix and use as is or restore. Clear title. Call David at 217-419-2583 with questions.
