This is a RARE 1967 Land Rover Series IIA 109 Station Wagon. From 1958 to 1967, only a limited number were built for USA market. This 1967 Landy has been upgraded to the stronger, more reliable GM 6-cylinder engine with Scotty adapter long ago. April of 1967 was the last month the 1967's were sold in US because of emission control regulations and just 264 were imported to USA in 1967 according to a Rover dealer. This Land Rover Series IIA 109 Station Wagon was sold in Feb 1967 in California, lived there until 5 years ago. A few years before the current owner purchased the truck, the second owner did a considerable amount of work to preserve her that included a total repaint with Dupont Imron red with cream top, which is the original color scheme. There are a few places the paint has been touch up professionally.Springs are from Parabolic and another good upgrade. The ride and handling is a much improved over stock. She has an aftermarket safari rack, seat belts, Hyd clutch, turn signals and a few other items. There is no sign of rust or rust issues, frame looks great, underside of body looks great.Tires are near new BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A LT235/65R16, clutch, battery and brakes are new, engine was rebuilt 8 years ago, idles smooth, no smoke, no leaks, runs cool. All gauges and switches except the odometer are working. Headlights, signals, heater, wipers work well and she has the optional window defrost.Brakes are stock 4 wheel drum, they stop fine and straight. Most of the brake system is new.NADA US models are rare vehicles. The vast majority are imported from other countries. Windows are good and look to be original. No cracks or chips. Have not seen any signs of rust damage. The truck has had a considerable amount of upgrades and repairs done in the las few years. The underside is not detailed out, no sign of rust, door seals and upholstery have been replaced, paint is good, windows are good. There is a tiny bit of corrosion on back door skin, lower LH side, very minor. A few minor dings and paint chip or two. This is a fun driver to enjoy, take to local car shows, parades, etc. it always turns heads and draws a crowd. The fun part is it seats 6!!!
