1980 Land Rover Series 3 Wagon Description

Up for sale is an excellent 1983 Land Rover Series 3 Stage one. The Stage One is a unique truck in the Land Rover line, as it was the last model to be made before the new Range Rover trucks. As such, the truck is a Series 3 body style with the newly (back in 1983) developed range rover V8 gas engine. Google land Rover stage one... it's fascinating!
If you want an old school Landy that can cruise at highway speeds (70MPH), this truck is for you!
Red exterior with gray cloth interior. The truck is outfitted with a roof rack and ladder, gas cans, shovel, axe, and a jack... All of which come with the sale.
THE GOOD:- Beautiful truck (needs a wash/clean)- Straight body, strong chassis, minimal rust anywhere- Strong engine, starts/runs every time. Takes Gasoline- Front ball joints rebuilt by a Specialized Land Rover shop in RI- Always serviced as same shop.- Holds oil.- Odometer says (47,xxx). Title reflects this (unconfirmed if it's rolled over)- Awesome accessories.- No work needed. Get in, drive it, look awesome

THE BAD:- Front seats were -reupholstered by previous owner. As you can see in pictures of front seats, this is beginning to wear- Doors were re-sealed by previous owner. This makes shutting the back two doors a slam job, although they are water tight- Front two Lucas lights have cracked off their mounts. They are stable in place, but need new hardware.- The Axe mount to the roof rack is broken. The axe is mounted and stable in place with heavy twine, but new mounts are needed, if you desire.

*Truck is a 1983, not 1980
