1992 Land Rover Range Rover Hunter Description

I am selling one of the 405 Hunters sold in 1992. It is finished in Eastnor Green over the Brogue Brown cloth manual adjusting seats. Power comes from the standard 3.9L fuel injected V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It wears the proper tri-spoke 16″ wheels and appears to be in all-original condition with 190k miles ticked away since new…that’s 6900 miles per year if you’re doing mental math. The frame is in excellent conditionI have included over high-resolution photos and a long list of items replaced over his 2 years of ownership. I am one of those enthusiasts, that likes to provide pictures throughout and very detailed written descriptions. The nice thing about the Hunter edition is that you don't have to deal with all the items that can break down such as the auto leveling suspension system, ABS etc. This car has all the great Land rover off road gadgets minus all the extra features found on other range rovers that cause problems and breakdown
The Eastnor Green paint is believed to be all original and looks to be great overall shape. It retains its factory badging and lettering, and the clear coat shows no signs of pulling away. The pictures show a few bumps and scratches this Classic has endured over the past 27 years, nothing of any unusual note or concern. The right rear panel has a scratch. The rear D-pillar vinyl has some small tears. The lift gate looks to be in good shape. A tell-tale sign of goodness is all 4 mudflaps are still intact. Might seem silly, but Rover enthusiasts know what this means. All exterior lights, indicators, and horn function correctly. New tires were recently added, as was a 1″ Old Man Emu coil spring lift.
The interior is very clean and seemingly all original. The brown cloth interior shows well for its age, and the headliner and wood trim were recently replaced. The dashboard, gauge cluster, and center console are all complete and intact. The upper right dash has a crack in the plastic. Heat blows well while the wipers, lights, signals, and gauges all work exactly as they should. I have upgraded the heat system with an Atlantic British blower motor kit, resistor pack, heater core, and changed out all pipes. Factory radio unit with code is installed. The A/C belt will squeal on occasion. The OEM bottle jack is still present. There are no reported illuminated dash warning lights, no squeaks, rattles or other annoying noises.
The tailpipe will need to be replaced, the steering box has the typical Rover leaks, as do the swivel balls and some minor engine oil leaks. The washer fluid reservoir also has a small leak. The following maintenance was provided performed:
