1992 Land Rover Range Rover County Sport Utility 4-Door 3.9L
1992 Land Rover Range Rover Description
1992 Range Rover Classic, Beluga Black with Sorrell Leather interior. This Rover starts on the first crank. The engine and transmission run well; however, it will drive onto a tow truck but it's not safe for the highway. It needs bodywork- a new steel floor, new rocker panels, new custom welded front and rear pillars, and new rear wheel wells (where the rear seat belts attach) because the floor is rusted out. There's also low brake pressure- I suspect it needs a new ABS accumulator, ABS pressure switch, or ABS pump. It also needs new plugs, cap, rotor and wires, and new emission hoses. NEW items after 120K miles: new wiper motor, headliner, viscous coupling transfer case, rear rotors and pads, Mean-Green starter, coolant expansion tank, stainless steel cats and cats back exhaust, Borla stainless steel exhaust, tailgate, tailgate seals and tailgate struts, headlamps, oil pump gasket, crankshaft gasket, timing cover gasket, swivel balls, front calipers, radiator, water pump, air conditioning system, heater core and blower kit assembly, O2 sensors, fuel filter, exhaust manifold, sunroof seal and more. There is no radio, the original cigar lighter is missing, there is some peeling along the center console bottom and the front right door side pocket is broken off. There is also bubbling along the Range Rover logo on the front hood and Range Rover lettering is peeling off (an easy fix). I have the original jack stand, both ignition keys, spare tire rim, and owner's manual. I have owned the vehicle since October 2005. The leather seats are in good shape and the seat covers as shown are included. A second set of floor carpets is included in the trunk. The Thule roof rack as shown is included. Oil changes were performed every 3,000 miles and the dipstick is squeaky clean. The exterior body will impress overall; it's straight with minimal dents, dings or scratches, and the paint shines after a good waxing. The steel chassis is rock solid and rust free. This Rover just needs undercarriage bodywork, some brake work, freshen up the emission hoses, and throw in new spark plugs, cap, rotors and wires for good measure. I moved to CA and this Rover must go. The title is clean and I will sign it over upon receipt of full payment. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. SOLD AS-IS.
