1988 Land Rover Defender Description

New Black Upholstery and fresh respray. The engine runs good.The 2.5 NA diesel It fires up at the turn of the key without hesitation and here in Florida you don't even have to fire up the glow plugs.The 5 speed LT85 transmissionand transfer case is stron, 2wheel high,4wheel high, 4wheel low. The transmission runs through all gears.No rust.Factory galvanized frame. ( I apologize for the muddy underneath pictures). Factory galvanized frame is completely solid.This 110 has Power steering, power brakes, parabolics all around.This 1988 Land Rover 110 was assembled under license in Spain by Land Rover Santana SA Motors.The Land Rover Santana S.A Motor Company built Land Rovers under license for Spai, Africa, and central/south America.This Land Rover is in great condition.
It was cared for by its one previous owner who did take it 4wheeling through his farm.I have all the inspection records from previous owner as well as all the manuals on pdf(Operator manual, parts manual, shop manuals) I also have copies of all import documents from Spain as well as the US(DMV kept the originals but I have pdf scans of everything)THIS IS NOT A RESTORATION, but as a well kept 31 year old used car in good shape.
Speedometer is in kilometers.208556 Mileage translates to about 123000 miles which is low for the years and nothing for a diesel engine. Seats were re-padded for more comfort.

The car has a clean Florida title in my name.(That means if you can title a Florida car in your state, you can title this one).I personally bought it in Spain, drove it, had it legally imported and all customs taxes paid, federal and state inspected EPA and NHTSA as well as Spain ITV, and given a clean bill of health.The truck runs and drives .

I am enclosing the original 16" steel wheels(ANR4636) and 7.5x16 tires(if you want them) Also, I am enclosing a new windshield and gasket- Don't know who cracked it last week but I have ordered a new one and a new gasket from the UK and it will be here before the end of the auction.
