1988 Land Rover Defender - Right Hand Drive - V8 with Edelbrock Conversion
1988 Land Rover Defender 110 Description
1988 Defender, right hand drive from England. Rover V8 with Edelbrock carb. conversion instead of horrid stock SU dual carbs.
This is a great Defender that drives wonderful, but definitely could be a huge dollar Defender if you wish. I used it as an off-roader for camping and hunting. Nothing stops this truck.
I have videos of the engine running:https://youtu.be/fh9oykevTRohttps://youtu.be/45Yo3zsdhLo
Maintenance/upgrades since I bought it:Wheel spacers for alloy rims.Rebuilt/replaced front hubs and swivel pins, this is a major issue with defenders so I went nuclear and it is SOLID.Removed old SU carburetors and replaced with Edelbrock carb. Had to replace intake manifold as well, but this is a huge upgrade for the Rover (Buick) V8.
Used it for a few years, and now selling it for what I paid for it. You will like this Defender if you want an amazing off-roader. If you are looking to take this out to be looked at, sure, you will get the looks, and it will get annoying talking about it so much, but don't expect this to be a comfortable daily driver unless you live above the Mason Dixon.
Lastly, has a good VIN and is registered in Florida. VIN is SALLDHMV7BA309581
