1971 Land Rover IIA 88 Series Description

1971 Land Rover IIA 88 Series. Condition is Used. Frame off restoration. Engine rebuilt with parts supplied from both RoversNorth and from the UK to include the head being rebuilt for unleaded gas and the intake/exhaust ceramic coated. New weber carb, new distributor, points and condenser. Went from generator to alternator. New fuel tank (still have old one if interested in cleaning and sealing). Repainted in Original color pastel green and cream and under coated with linex treatment. Brakes redone with new brake lines and master cylinder. Door bottoms replaced (comes with original door bottoms and a older set of window tops with glass). Tub replaced with series III tub (comes with original tub and cladding). Wiring harness replaced from Roversnorth. Fuse box changed over to standard car type box with blade type fuses. All lights work, new turn indicator stalk and lenses and running lights sourced from the UK. Heater fan rebuilt (unfortunately only works at one speed unlike original two-speed). Electric fuel pump. No rust at all on the vehicle. New tires and included in the sale is a wider set of rims that need sand blasting and painting but fit the Rover. I have 200+ more photos of the original vehicle and pics during the restoration and more pics of the vehicle to include undercarriage shots can be sent via email if requested. The top was repainted and aftermarket antenna and rear brake lights removed but there are holes in the roof from the previous install. All gauges work except the cold start indicator and the speedo (will try to fix both before sale but no promises). Installed shoulder style seatbelts with retractors for the driver and passenger. Only things not redone during rest was steering wheel, front hubs and transmission. Lots of spare parts from restoration so bring big trailer. Have parts to rebuild the parking brake.
