1993 Land Rover Range Rover Classic (RRC) Description

CLEAN, ompletely California rust-free1993 LandRover Range Rover County Edition.The seventhyear of theClassic in Short Wheelbase ( SWB) configuration which was sold in the U.S for 9 years, tarting in 1987 with the first year of importation,through early 1995.

The 1993 models mark the continued evolvement of earlier models to standard-production numbers manufactured with an honest-to-goodness Antilock ABS brake system. Aside from that, ll the traditional Range Rover styling and design continued on until 1995 ( the last year of the iconic Classic ) when they were discontinued and the SWB went on to become automotive history.

This SWB is a SUPER SOLID, strong>ONE -OWNERCalifornia SWB Classic, esiding here since new, hen sold new by Cole European Land Rover/ Jaguar in Burlingame in Northern California in 1993 until now, here it currentlyresides. A Silicon Valley, aliforniaRangie since new. It scores an AUTOCHECK score of70! in a 32-56 rating scale.

This Range Rover is a Countymodelwith beautiful burl wood throughout.Completely stock, ndoriginalSWB, ithlow 165K original miles. It starts, dles and drivesgreat. The engine on this Range rover was part of a factory extended-warranty replacement, erformed by the dealer at 91K miles.

There isNOrustnor corrosion on this vehicle, em>as it wouldbe expected from a California-lived RRC ( hard-pressed condition to find in anyClassic beyond the Sierra mountains).BEWARE OF RUST BUCKETS EAST OF THE WEST COAST~!

This SWB comes equipped with all the comforts, tandard features and amenities of its time, longwith HELLA 500 Fog lights,FactoryLand Rover ( rear) CD changer, oof rack, ptional wheelsand factory Tow package. Very nice set ofnearly-new radial tires( approximately 95% of tread left) mounted on a nice, lean set offactoryspecial-order TWR alloy wheels.

NEVER altered or lifted.NO NIGHTMARISH EAS to contend with, nd this SWB Classic has always had a normal coil & strut suspension. NO air-deflation nighmares ever! In addition, he suspension has been enhanced with a set of LesJofors coil springs, nd it rides very nicely.

Stock 3.9L engine runs EXCELLENT. As it is well documented in all Land rover circles, he 3.9L was a vast improvement over the early 3.5engines as it was more robust and had more torque as a result of engine redesigning to increase displacement to a more efficient, eliable motor.

NO overheating issues, ickingnor any noisesto contend with.Approximately 70K miles on a factory replacement engine, ith 165K total miles,better than average for any Land Rover.

Automatic transmission shifts well into all gears. Low and High transfer cases work fine. Four-wheel Power disc brakes,Power steering, ower windows andPower heated seats, liding sunroofand Power mirrors.

Finish isVERY NICE considering this RRC is nearly twenty five years young ! Itsdesirable Beluga Black finish ( more of a Jet Black tone) still shines remarkably well for an unrestored Rangie.

There isNO clearcoatflaking or damage to thefinish on the roof, ood or filler panel areas, ommon on many Rovers, pecially East Coast examples where the elements and salted roads have taken their toll on the body panels and undercarriage,a hindrancenearly impossible to repair! There is one little spot on the roof, arely visible.

The original Connolly tan upholstery is in very good condition and has held upsurprisingly well.There are no cracks or tears on any of the leather in the seats. BOTH front seats are in very good condition, ith no splits, ears or seam separation.Headliner hasbeen professionally refinished from end to end ( including the sunroof shade), nd it looks GREAT.

In addition, his SWB still has therare-as-hen's-teeth foldable rear cargo cover, lmost always missing or usually broken in all Range Rover Classics.

Overall, very clean interior, oor panels, actory carpetingandtrunk area. The photos show the Rangie very clearly. NON SMOKER vehicle always.

Solid unrestored 93' Range Rover County Classic.It's a truly solid, ust-freeSWB, ith very goodmiles and the good 3.9L engine.It runs very well with a strong, olid powertrain. Clean chassis, o tweaks and NO rust and still all-original interior.It will make a great traveler, ff-roader or camping Rangie with some minor personal touches.
