1991 Land Rover Defender 90 LHD with a factory fitted 200 tdi engine. The 200 tdi engine is vastly superior to the older 19j diesel engines available in Defenders (only one original200 tdi Defender has been sold so far on ebay as far as I know, the rest are all19j or 12j engines). This one is in great condition, tarts immediately even after sittingand no smoke at all. The VIN is SALLDVAF8HA484321. I have not rolled back the odometer and it does work. so the mileage is genuine. Many Defenders are sold on ebay with 'under 100k miles'. It's funny because I import these from Europe and very few will have mileage that low, f they do the prices are sky high but every other Defender imported to the US seems to have low miles with a fresh paint job and black paint sprayedall over the frames. These are car dealers rolling back odometers because they can get away with it on an imported vehicle, lain and simple. Again just my opinion, lease take it as that.

The Defender is in very good overall condition, ormal wear and tear for an unrestored vehicle of this vintage. No rust, river foot well has had some surface rust cleaned and repainted, he metal on the upper foot well is showing some pitting but no holes, t is solid. Foot well rust is extremely common on Defenders as they get older, ave not seen one yet that didn't have any.Frame is completely solid with no rust. Has a couple of small unnoticeabledings besides that, ut no rust anywhere else. I didn't clean off and repaint any mild surface rust on chassis membersas many sellers do. I think one hinge has some surface rust. Also has a working Sony stereo.
Flaws: Dash end cap has a piece missing ($25)Instrument cowl has a broken piece($85)Ignition barrel is operated by two keys, on't know if this is a security add on or an issue with the barrel. A new barrel with keys is $125.Driver side seat bottom cover has some stitching that has come undone, ould be restitched.
