1975 Land Rover Defender Light Weight Description

Very Rare Land Rover Series III Air Portable Radio Vehicle (only 14,000 made over 14 years, and not many survived military service or made it over the Pond to the US.)
It served 6 years of active duty with British Military Northern Ireland and with the 41 Commando Regiment and with the Royal Marine Commandos. Then got into more trouble in civilian life until I found it in Ireland in 2014.
My Irish undertook the daunting task of doing a full restoration, and loved every minute of it (almost!) I shipped it to Dallas in the Fall of 2014 and have had many adventures since.
Unfortunately, circumstances require that I now sell my pride and joy. Contact me and I can direct you to the website that I built just to show photos of the restoration and roadtrips.
