As long-time classic car collectors, we excitedly purchased this unabused and original beauty in October 2013. It was delivered to Scottsdale out of Long Island as part of an Estate Sale.Previous owner put 500 miles on the rebuilt engine
After receiving it from Interstate Transport we left it with our mechanic for a thorough going-over.He brought it back to us December 2014 (just over 1 year) after adding electric fuel pump, installed correct replacement parts (hoses, clamps, rubber) and completely tuned up for miles of worry-free Classic Car Club of America road tours. 3-speed manual on column with Overdrive. Buyer will be supplied with complete list of replacement parts as well as added convenience features (electric fans, elect. fuel pump, improved shocks, supports, etc.)
Unexpected terminal illness has caused liquidation of our collector car inventory, including this sweet car that, sadly, we never got to drive on a tour. Fresh radiator and fuel system, this classic deserves a home with drivers. Gives a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.Shines like a diamond with its chrome all polished and red leather interior. Radio, heater and clock function properly. Fender skirts with chrome trim stands out in a crowd. She is ready for viewing.Red leather and tan cloth interior may never have been replaced in the past; no records of it. The interior seating is in very good condition. The lap robe rope in the back seat shows some wear. The black lacquer paint is beginning to graze in stress points of the design (corners and around windshield). Trunk deck has a place that is peeling.The car is original with having had great maintenance. Steel body from the factory, No Rust. Chrome is in great shape. Steering wheel is not cracked.
