1965 Lincoln Continental Continental Convertible Description

My parents bought this car in 1967 as the second owners, and it has been in our family ever since. I started driving it in 1976. It was fully restored in 1986, and then completely rebuilt in 2007. Between Baker Auto in CT and Lincolnland in FL, have spent over $50,000. The car is almost perfect. Black on black, the doors arevery unusual. They are theonly ones I have ever seen that don't have a wood panel inlay. They look great. The car has always been garaged since we owned it. Overthe years, I have made a few modifications. I removed the cruise control and put in a tworeservoir master cylinder. It would not fitwith the cruise installed. I did this after having the brake peddle go to the floor more thanonce, and using theparking brake to stop. I also put in a new modernalternator to powerthestereo and GPS alarm system. I added seat belts (imagine that), and a fewmodernconveniences including cup holders, a super high endstereo (Over $10K from World Wide Stereo) for perfect sound with the top down at 80 mph, some under seat lighting, and a cigarette lighter jack for plugging in toys.
Over the years, I have white posted all of the brakes, replaced most of the motors and relays, all of thevacuum lines, and so much more. She is a beautiful driver. The odometer shows 1374 miles. Theengine wasfully rebuilt at 95K miles, so only has 6300 miles on it. The leather seats and carpeting were all replaced, any most of the chrome has been redone, some twice over the past 45 years. Everything works, including thevacuum door locks, the 6way power seats, the automatic window vents, the complete top mechanism, the hydrolic variable speed wipers, the power antenna, and the clock keeps perfect time (i had the guts replaced with a quartz system). The AC blows perfect cold air, and the auto drop windows on both back doors work perfectly. She has never been in an accident.
There are two small flaws. I have a few bubbles in the paint on the trunk, and a small worn spot on the white top. The last paint job was 7 yearsago.
I live in Philly and can drive this car to the shore easily on a nice summer or fall weekend. The tires are almost new. I have a full size cover for winter storage, and a permanently installed plug in trickle battery charger. Feel free to ask me anyquestions as I know every inch of this car.
