1962 Lincoln Continental suicide door project car
1962 Lincoln Continental Continental Description
Have to narrow down the fleet. This 1962 Lincoln Continental has been off the road in a old garage in Hamilton NJ for 35 plus years. The motor runs great, although it sat so long. The gas is bad in it and should be drained, but idles smooth with no noise or smoke. Body is very solid, no rot, trunk floor is mint. Front floors have tiny spot on drivers side and tiny spot on passsenger side front, other wise perfect, frame is straight, no rust through at all. Everything on the car works, power windows, seat and horn. Glass is all nice and intact. Bumpers are straight, need rechrome, stainless is all nice. Trunk lid is rotted, I'm told it's a common problem and mine could be repaired, (not in my book) I'm not a welder, but other Lincoln enthusiasts tell me it's repairable. Trans shifts nice, stops and steers. This car needs a full restoration, hasn't seen the light of day for a long, long time, but it's a fine, solid start for a really cool cruiser. These cars are getting more and more desirable, people are restoring and customizing these cars. Get in at a good time, before they go nuts. NO RESERVE, so if you bid, intend to buy it. I need this car outta here as soon as possible, neighbors busting my chops. Questions, cash offers? Text me 908-907-2414
