1986 Lincoln Town Car Signature Sedan 4-Door Description

Stunning original condition 1986 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series survivor with Continental Kit option.
With 94,908 original miles, this is probably the cleanest driven 1980's Lincoln to be found.
Paint, chrome, trim and Vinyl top are exceptional. No pealing clear coat or sun fade. Brightwork shines wonderfully. No cracks or tears or ripped seams in the Vinyl top. Some light rock chip wear on the front of the car as seen in the photos - easily touched up if the new owner would choose to do so. Overall, less visible wear than most 1 year old cars!
Interior: Meticulously detailed. No tears in seats, dashboard like new (including speaker covers) and overall about as minimal wear as a 30 year old car can have. Door panels all exceptional with only the drivers side having a slight crack (see photo). Some minor wear on the drivers seat as can also be seen in the photos. Perfect, no sag headliner.
All windows, seat controls, original radio and speakers, automatic door locks and automatic headlights function as should. Doors close like a vault.
Mechanically the car runs effortlessly and glides down the road. Cold AC, hot heat, cruise control - everything functions as should. Quite dual exhaust. Excellent whitewall tires. NYS Inspected. Recently tuned with all Motorcraft parts. I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere. The only flaw I can find is the temperature gauge does not function properly - other than that to ME, this as as close to a new car as an unrestored 1986 Town Car can get. You will find imperfections like in any car that has been driven, but the photos speak for themselves!
