1961 Lincoln Continental Description

Original and untampered with 1961 Lincoln Convertible complete with all trim and hubcaps. Only 2857 convertible 1961 Lincolns were built.
BODY:
Solid unswept floors and straight fenders, body appears to be ccodent free. The rare and all important decklid is in nice condition with solid corners. Had the car painted several years ago and there wasn't much of any rust to speak of before: so not much to do still.
INTERIOR:
Nice original windshield and door glass as well convertible only stainless windshield trim complete. Dash plus gauges are in nice shape and the rear seat was recovered a few years ago. Front seat and door panels will need to be recovered in resto. The carpet is pulled out so you can see how nice the floors are. The interior is complete down to the original lighters for the door panel armrests. All trim has been placed in plastic totes for transport subsequent to pictures taken below.
MECHANICALS:
Original motor compartment has correct 430 cubic inch motor mated to the original automatic transmission. Will need another carburetor rebuild, major tune up, belts, hoses, complete fluids change, replacement radiator and new exhaust.
The convertible top is complete with all original wiring, pumps and hoses. Nobody has hacked it up or bypassed the original system.
