1962 Lincoln Continental 7.0L
1962 Lincoln Continental Continental Description
This car just eats the road. I have replaced the shocks, the brakes, and the exhaust. Neither the transmission, the engine, not the differential leak. I've owned this car for several years but haven't driven it nearly enough due to my heavy work schedule.
The engine has developed a knock which would indicate that a rebuild is necessary. It is currently not drivable for that reason. I don't choose to rebuild the engine at this time, but instead believe it should be done by the new owner. (That would allow the new owner access to any warranty associated with a rebuild)
The AC system is complete, but hasn't been used since I've owned it. I believe that one of the AC lines leaks and needs to be rebuilt. The compressor appears to be in working condition, but the new owner should reseal it and replace the dryer unit.
