1985 Lincoln Town Car. 63,089 miles showing. I replaced the rod bearings in the engine about 3,000 miles ago just to be safe as the oil pickup screen had been blocked by sludge as this 302 cid has two drain plugs on the pan and where they had it serviced only the rear pan was drained so sludge built up.This engine is clean inside now and runs great. Vehicle drives very well and is ready to go as is. Passes SMOG OK . Problems are drivers door glass needs a new regulator gear. Drivers seat motor works some times but may have bad switch or broken wire at door hinge. Drivers door lock does not work correctly.Tires should be replaced and front rotors should be turned as we only put new pads on to get it home. Rear brakes are fine and checked.New brake master cylinder and new battery. Clear coat is sunburned in spots but polishes out as shown. Vinyltop pad is badly weathered as shown. Passenger front door was dented as shown.Includes an original manual and an extra headlight unit. Has spare tire and wheel and tools as shown. Very nice blue grey Velour interior. Best part of car is the interior. Seat belts all work. AC system works but is low on Freon R-12. Has the updated ignition switch per a Ford TSB. (not the ignition lock). This car rides very nice and has spent it's life in Nevada so there is no rust out. As can be seen the engine bay is very complete and original. This is a one owner car. No warranty expressed or implied and is sold as i, where is. Used. It has a salvage title only because when the door damage was turned in for repair the agent totaled the car so it was purchased back from the insurance company.
