1965 Lincoln Continental Description

I am the third owner of this car. Second owner in 2009 replaced the water pump, complete dual exh, fuel pump, front calipers & rotors, rear drums &hardware, wheel cylinders and all brake lines front to back with new adjustable pressure regulator, complete fuel line replacement. In 2014 (when I bought the car) I installed all new; wheel inner and outer bearings & wheel seals, upper and lower ball joints, upper control arm bushings, drag link, inner and outer tie rods, idler arm, strut bar bushings, end links, rebuilt steering box( steering gears plus co.), new coil springs(Detroit Eaton), rear leaf springs, (Detroit Eaton) isolator pads and bushings, new stock style shocks, 3 window motors (back left window needs wiring and switch). In 2015 I installed an Edelbrock 600cfm carb, pertronix 3 ignition, pertronix 3 coil, pertronix 7mm wires and relay, distributor cap and rotor, recored 3 row radiator, thermostats and all hoses, new starfire tires, new brake pads and shoes, alternator and belts, battery, electronic voltage regulator, new manufacture starter, starter relay, U-joints, window tint, stock style washer fluid bag and pump. I installed front door solenoids( two sets of keys and two fobs). Original fuel tank leaked if filled above about 1/3, replaced with 15 gallon aluminum fuel cell(fully vented externally, with return line) mounted in trunk. The body work( right rear quarter, front rockers both sides) is welded sheet metal( same gauge as original), minimal duraglass filling, I applied PPG epoxy then a PPG bc/cc paint. Shaving on the car was done with welded metal. Underside of car is excellent, no holes still has some original undercoating in spots. The car starts and runs very strong, the ride is outstanding( all new suspension and chassis, steering). The original hubcaps and other original parts go with the car along with some body trim. Differential lube, trans fluid were replaced along with coolant, oil, filter and steering fluid in Jan 2016.
