1988 Lincoln Mark Series LSC Description

Please read entire listing! Nice garage-kep, all its life in Texas LSC with 112 K miles ! Owned the car since 1995 . Always starts, does not use any oil and no leaks. This one is powered by High Output 5.0 liter 302 V8 and backed by a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmission.It runs and drives pretty good.It has clean fluids AND RECENT battery.The tires mounted on original wheels are older but have lots of tread.The engine compartment is very clean .The aftermarket dual exhaust sounds great ( walker dynomax purchased and installed in 1995) .This one has the 3.27 rear axle. Another aftermarket feature here is Moroso cold air kit installed also in 1995. Also has Ford Motorsport ignition wires and Silver streak ignition module. The fuel pump was replaced about a year ago with accses made carefully thru the trunk as seen on Lincoln Mark LSC internet club site. The pesky Bosch brake accumulator was replaced with conventional brake booster that does a great job at stopping this car in any situation.
The red leather interior is very clean overall.The leather seats are soft and clean.The door panels,dash pad and headliner look amazing! The carpet is are very clean.No smoke odors or pets! A/C compressor will come on but needs freon or could be converted . The power moonroof motor does not work and remains in closed position .It is equipped with aftermarket AM-FM CD stereo with premium speakers ( I rarely ever use it) The trunk liner is very clean and the original spare tire and jack are included.
This LSC has been babied and garage-kept! The factory black clearcoat paint looks great! The body is very straight ! The floors and frame look great.All the glass is clean but there is a very noticeable rock chip on the passenger side ( see picture ).Also picture # 15 and 16 I have put some time ago clear tape on the chrome door panel and door handle and did not remove it. It is minor and can be removed( decided not to do it myself) One more thing to mention is picture # 24 is a little rust buble on the inside of car door frame up top.THE ONLY EXPLANATION FOR THAT IS IT HAPPEND OVER THE YEARS WHEN CAR WAS WASHED AS THIS CAR HAD NOT SEEN RAIN OR SNOW IN ALL THE YEARS I OWNED IT .When I drive the car locally people think I just bought a new car . I WOULD NORMALLY LIST THE CAR LOCALY BUT I AM CERTAIN THAT THIS CAR TO WOULD END UP BEING JUST A GROCERY GETTE, THIS LINCOLN MARK IS A SURVIVOR AND COULD BE NICE COLLECTABLE CLASSIC CAR WITH NEW OWNER
