1947 Lincoln Continental Description

Up for auction is this beautiful rust free1947 lincoln conv. with a 331 cadillac motor.I am selling this car for the family of a good friend who just recently passed away.This is what I know about the car.This lincoln originally lived it's entire life in california untill it was brought hear aprox 10 years ago.there is 0 rust on thiscar anywhere The engine transplant was done many years ago and is adapted to the original 3 speed overdrive.Thiswas a very common swap years ago because the v12 was very problematic due to overheating and no horsepower.The car runs out very well.The cadillac motor runs like a clock with no issues.The car is coverted to 12 volts and hasan aftermarket cd player.The paint and body on this car is beautiful. the hydrolic system for the top and windows has a leak in the pass. side door so the top and windows will not functionunless the leak is fixed.Sorry to say my friend passed away before it was fixed.The top and windows will work if the fluid is filledIt also has a lot of the original wire harness which should probably be updated.Otherwise the car is drop dead beautiful right downto the wire wheels. I am placing a very resonable reserve and also open to resonable offers.These cars are very hard to find in this condition so bid with confidenceThis car will be sold!!!
