1957 Lincoln Premier
This car came down from Canada about
mid summer 1997.
It had been overhauled at that time, the
engine and transmission have been rebuilt.
It had new tires, upholstery redone
although the front seat needs recovered.
The dash needs the cover finished.
The car is complete except for the air
conditioner pump bracket on the engine.
It has the overhead air conditioner air
tubing. The rear window tubes are in great shape.
The electric windows work.
It is equipped with a continental kit.
The engine is stock 368 cu.
The whole car needs to be repainted.
It was painted with in a white pearl coat with no clear.
That paint has faded and weathered.
It appears it was a pink or pink/white factory paint.
The chrome needs redone—but is complete.
I do not know the mileage.
I do not much more about this car.
My father recently passed and heknew all the info on the car.
We do have a clear title for it
▶ It has factory fender skits, which are with the car.
▶ It has extra taillight lenses. The taillight lenses on the car are fine.
▶ It has a factory lubrication distributor kit—not installed.
▶ The A/C pump bracket is missing from the engine—I do have the pump.
▶ The power antenna mast is broken off.
▶ The car is equipped with a factory style spotlight side mirror.
▶ It has the original hubcaps.
I hope that I have not led you on that the Lincoln is in prime condition, but rather it is in an amateurish restored condition with several areas that should be refurnished. The dash padding needs reinstalled—some previously done body work is starting to show—some repairs and rechroming on the front bumper are required. At present it is not running, but has been running. There is no battery. Still has the big 6 volt under the passenger floorboard. Car is located in South Central Montana off I-90. We will have to make arrangements for pickup.
