Beautiful, daily driver 1977 Continental Mark V. New paint. NO RUST
1977 Lincoln Continental Mark v Description
Up for sale is my 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V. I own a restoration shop in Loomis California, about 20 miles east of Sacramento. A customer had told me about one of his neighbors selling a Lincoln so I went out to take a look at it. I purchased the car about eight months ago. Before putting it back on the road, I inspected the full braking system, rebuilt the carburetor, changedall the fluids, new tires, new paint, acquired a clean California pink slip in my name, and I'm installing a brand new fuel tank and sending unit this week.
The car runs, stops, steers and shifts exactly as it should. It flies down the freeway comfortably without any overheating issues, no ticking, no smoking and no leaks. The car will sit for weeks and fire right up! The car has been in California its whole life and therefore- there is not a single square inch of metal needing to be replaced on or under the car. The air conditioning and heating system works exactly as it should. All Vents and controls work exactly as I should as well.
When I got the car, I was not very happy with the factory color although the body was in extremely nice shape- so I had it painted a very pleasing metallic blue. The car has never been in a wreck and none of the metal has ever been replaced. There is not a single rattle in this car and it seals upwatertight- even though the weather stripping shows age. I've only driven the car about 20 miles since I have gone through everything, and it is ready for its next owner to enjoy.
The upholstery is all original and looks excellent for its age. The dash does not have a single crack in it, none of the seats have tears in them. All power motions work as they should. The factory quadrasonic stereo works perfectly and plays 8tracks very clear as well. The vinyl top Is also in great shape with no tears. The only non stock modification the car has had is a custom exhaust which has a great tone but is not too loud. The car still has 100% of its California smog equipment.
I have a clean California title in my name, registered non-op. I also have a large folder that comes with the car including all the paperwork dating back to when the car was new and the original sales contract. The car has great paper,is very well optionedfrom the factory and is 100% ready to be a daily driver or a car show Queen! Truly a stunningly beautiful Iron Giant of a car that drives like new.
Feel free to give me a call anytime if you would like to come and take a look at the car or discuss further details. I am located 20 miles east of Sacramento. I can also help with shipping arrangements 1 (916) 652 6852. LEAVE A CLEAR MESSAGE WITH YOUR PHONE NUMBER. I would also be happy to take any further pictures that are needed and send them to you. the only known defect the car has, which I am working on this week, is the door locks do not work via the button. However, they work perfectly with the key.
