Wow, this is truly grandpa's car, which was bequeathed to his grandson and he simply didn't want it. Too big? Wanted navi? Hates hood ornaments? I'm not really sure, but I was happy to buy it, as it looks and drives like a brand new 82 Town Car and only has 21,949 miles! I put a headliner in it, an exhaust and put a new gas tank it rather than clean the other one out. There's absolutely no rust and the blue leather interior looks like new. It has the cool power vent windows and, of course, power everything else. As you can see from the undercarriage, it's very solid and all the suspension is nice and tight. The 5.0L V-8 runs like a top with no leaks or smoke coming out the exhaust. She shifts perfectly and stops on a dime. The only issues are the shocks that hold up the hood appear new, but are too small, so they don't hold up the hood. Also, for some reason the cruise control buttons are not on the steering wheel and it doesn't work without them. I found a steering wheel for $94 on eBay, but have to check if an 84 will work with the controls, as they appear different. Also, it comes with a manual and I have extra headlights for it. Buyer is responsible for shipping the car, but I will certainly help with the arrangement. I am also available to pick you up from Detroit Metropolitan airport if you want to fly in and drive the car home. She runs perfectly, so there should be no issue with the car driving from coast to coast.
