1979 Lincoln Continental Collector's Series Edition Description

Truly, America's Most Luxurious and Celebrated Automobile, this 1979 Continental Mark V Collector's Series was the finest offering from Ford Motor Company during what was the last year of the final full sized traditional Lincoln. An amazing example, this car has only been driven 12,700 miles since it was new and I am the second owner having owned it for the past 12 years while the original owner purchase it new in September 1978.This car is equipped with virtually every Lincoln option available for the Mark V during the 1979 model year. The previous owner ensured that the car was service at the local Lincoln dealer and I have maintained the car in the same manner. There are some minor use scratches in the clear coat paint as would be expected but the paint is still magnificent and brilliantly shiny. The tires still have like new tread on them and they are Firestone brand, which was one of the tires brands offered in 1979.The interior is sumptuous to say the least and is perfect in every way and free of any wear or tear. All interior electrical options work freely and as they should including the rare Electronic Citizens Band Radio, which is housed in the Center Console. The Electronic Stereo with Power Antenna produces impressive sound for that year and the Electronic Miles to Empty Indicator is accurate with fuel use calculations. Also, the diode lighted Outside Thermometer located in the left mirror housing is correct and the Illuminated Entry System works perfect with both key locks lighted when activated. This car's engine features the 400 CID 6.6L V8 engine with 2 Barrel Carburetor coupled to the smooth C6 Automatic Transmission. The engine and transmission operate as new and there are no leaks under the clean and rust free under areas of the suspension. The shocks and springs operate as new and provide the superior Lincoln ride. The Leather Owner's Manual along with the Wooden Keys and Leather Key Fob and extra sets of keys are included. The Knirps Umbrella and Electronic Garage Door Kit and Leather Wrapped Took Kit are included and are completed and as new.I have many more photographs and three walk around videos with demonstrations of the car's engine and operation of the accessories. Please request these and they will be sent to you.Serious buyers only with cash accepted during bank hours and bank wire accepted as payments. Paypal accepted for initial payment required by Ebay.
