1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II - Ellingson Motorcars
1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II Description
The Mark II was the first and only car developed and sold by the Continental division of Ford. It was an ultra-luxury car in every sense of the term, being hand built, and equipped with nearly every feature and amenity of its era. Every Mark II was assembled to order, and it's said that each Mark II may have cost as much as twice its retail price of approx.. $10,000.
This Mark II's came out of a large collection and it is one of the nicest Mark II's we have seen. It is presented in a beautiful Mark II white with a red and white interior. The Chrome and bright work is impeccable. It has the original radio, power windows (including the vents), power brakes and steering, and power seats. The car shown here carries the only option available from the factory, the $595 air-conditioning system. Its total price would be equivalent to over $100,000 today.
Stop out and see what one of the most expensive and beautiful cars of the area looks like. You will be sure to be impressed.
