1971 Lincoln Continental Description

We are Euclid Car Co at 1240 E. 286th St., Euclid, OH 44132, Fax No. 216-417-5301. Thank you for looking at our vehicle. You will need a Paypal account to bid. Our hours of operation and pickup times are Mon - Fri from 10AM to 4:30PM.Please do not message us through eBay, only by our phone number. We do not read texts. Phone calls only. If for some reason we don't answer the phone, leave a message and we promise to call you back as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the vehicle, call Stan at 216-598-7011. If you win the vehicle, please send a $500 non-refundable deposit to our Paypal account within 12 hours. Full payment due in 3 days. eBay is letting anybody bid, regardless of your past history. If you as a buyer have not bought at least 3 items in the last 3 months, you need to call us before you bid or your bid will be immediately removed.

We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any. Balance is to be paid by check, cash or wire transfer only. Please send us your name, phone number and address directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery after deposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork, which is the doc fee and title transfer and 45 day tags are available for $25.

We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer is responsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’s the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. The reason all deposits are non-refundable is because when someone bids, that means they are 100% satisfied with this vehicle. They have either seen the car, sent out a third party, or are willing to accept the car with my pictures and my word, which may not be the same as theirs. Please don’t come out and re-check the car, see if your family member likes it, then decide you don’t want it, because then your $500 deposit will be gone. The trust I’m giving all buyers to 100% check the car out before the auction is the way this auction is being run. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.

If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.

All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's cars after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.

Thank you for looking at our clean 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark 3. This car is red with a while vinyl top and a white leather interior. It looks great. This is a really sporty color combination. Anywhere and everywhere you go, people are looking with a thumbs up. Everyone really likes the car! The car runs well, the motor sounds great, the transmission shifts correctly and the rear end is as quiet as can be. The tires are not really old, and neither are the brakes. Within the last three years, the shocks and exhaust were replaced. The right manifold gasket on the engine leaks a little. It's a simple fix.

The body on the vehicle, outside of a couple surface spots that are barely noticeable, is in good shape. We haven't touched the body of the vehicle. It's exactly how we purchased it from the previous owner. The right rear bumper end at the back of the vehicle has rust on the bottom, because water got in there and couldn't get out, and it looks a little fuzzy on the car. They sell new replacement ends on eBay for $150 if you'd like to replace it. The air conditioning belt is off, the compressor seems to turn freely, and you'd have to figure out how to make the air conditioning work, but it's all there.

The radio, heat, and driver's window work. The passenger window works once in a while. It may need a window motor or possibly just have the contacts be cleaned. The headlights open up on the vehicle. The underneath of the vehicle is very solid. If you purchased the car and want to drive it home, you can probably do it, but I always suggest to have vehicles over 30 years old be shipped.

We bought this car from a gentleman in PA. He has owned the vehicle since 1973. His father purchased it from out west and drove it home. His son got the car from his father in 1990, and so he was actually the caretaker of this vehicle for 30 years. In the last 47 years, this Lincoln has not spent one night outside. It's always been in the garage and well taken care of. The only reason he sold the car is because he's downsizing his life.

The miles on the vehicle read 6246 and these miles are exceeded, which means the car was driven approximately 2000 miles a year for 50 years. This would be a beautiful, classic car to take out on weekends or to car shows. It will be sold to the last highest bidder when the sale ends in 5 days. If you feel you'd like to make an offer on the vehicle, feel free to call me or send your offer. What's so nice about this vehicle is that a family of 4 or 5 can fit in the car and go anyplace they'd like to go.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
