1948 Lincoln Continental Description

This is an outstanding car. Really draws the attention on the street or at car shows. We were invited to the 2008 Ironstone Concours d' Elegance car show in Murphy, California. The car won Best In Class. The cars appearance has not changed since that time. We rarely do shows anymore but drive it enough to keep everything running. The restoration is older but still only has very minor inperfections in the paint. We purchased this car from an estate in 2007. The person handling the sale owned a very nice classic car business, Valenti Classics, in Caledonia, WI. He was friends with the cars owner and was helping sell the car for his friends wife. The owners name was Ray Hunn. He purchased the car in July 1990 and the odometer was 40763 at that time. When we were making the shipping arrangements with him he told us the only way he would ship it was by enclosed trailer as it was too nice of a car to ship open transport. As I said this is really a fine car but I have other cars and getting too old to manage all of them so hoping someone else can enjoy this car. All the gauges work except the gas gauge is not accurate when it reads 1/4 it's empty. The engine was rebuilt to a 305 ci and runs great. Tires in good condition. The interior is perfect. The carpeting is great except has a small wrinkle on passenger side. All power windows work. The push button door openers work good. All windows are good and all lights work. The car has always been garaged and has had very good care. We have the original sales record . Also have the Operator's Manual model 876H dated November 1, 1947. We welcome any inspection of the car. We will except Pay Pal and must be paid within 3 days of bid closing. The buyer will make all shipping arrangements. We will accommodate the transporter. We have shipped a car from our property in the past.
