1973 Lincoln Mark Series Description

This is an all original vehicle with 29,920 miles. It has been a CA car it's entire life and specifically in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have owned the car for three and a half years. I believe I am the second owner. The majority of the car's life was spent in Atherton, CA. which offers mild weather and the car was always garaged. There is no evidence of rust.
The interior is in excellent condition. The leather is supple, there are no cracks on the dash or door panels, and the carpet is clean. The horn sounds like alocomotive and the rim blow feature works perfectly. All options are working as they should except the AC and clock. I had the AC serviced in 2013 and recharged with R12. There may be a small leak of freon as it is not blowing cold now.
The exterior still has the original paint and top. There are some dimple bubbles underneath the vinyl top below the rear window. They are, however, solid to the touch. Otherwise, the original "Calvary Twill" top is in very good condition. I thought it important to keep the car as original as possible so I have not considered repainting it and did not feel it needed it. There are mild scratches (difficult to see) and the right rear fender can look cloudy in certain light but it is also very difficult to see and it does not show in pictures.
The Lincoln drives as new. The doors shut perfectly with a solid "thunk." The interior door straps have no cracks (a common problem with these cars). She starts perfectly every time and has power to spare from the 460 cubic inch V8. She drives straight and has good brake pedal feel and has the factory "Sure-Trac" braking system. The interior is quiet on the freeway and the rubber seals around the windows and trunk are supple. There is no evidence of past cigarette smoking.
There are vintage, aftermarket, Appliance wheels on the car. They were on it when I bought it and I assume the original owner had it done in the seventies. I do have the original hubcaps which are in very good condition.
I have maintained and improved the Lincoln for optimal driving. Here is a partial list of maintenance and repairs and or replaced items:
