1992 Lincoln Mark Series Special Edition LSC Description
Auctioning off Three Lincoln Mark VII's plus an assortment of parts as one lot. This represents over 20 years of driving and collecting these cars in our family.
One 1992 Lincoln Mark VII LSC Special Edition (red) plus One 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC Special Edition (red) plus One Black1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC with gold scriptedGianni Versace quarter windows. (3 cars total), Plus parts.
Both Special Edition Lincolns are Garnet red exterior and black leather interior. All options including sunroof. The 1991 is black with black leather. All Cars were built in Michigan USA and have USA manufacture decals on them. I have letters from FORD (with VIN #) for both special edition cars indicating that although these cars were originally sold in Canada, that they do comply with USA regulations and can be brought back to the USA. The black 1991 I consider a parts car and can be imported as such. It also does compl, I just don't have the letter for it (but you can get from Ford if you want).an interesting note is that although the cars are a 1991 and 1992 SE, they were built less than 14 days apart in Aug 1991.Both Hemmings and Hagerty Insurance list the Lincoln Mark VII LSC as a car of note and potential future collectible from the 80's-90's. it's one of he last bumper to bumper all steel cars built.
Please read all the way through and ask questions accordingly. I am happy to answer your questions.
Car # 1) The 1992 LSC SE is a well maintained original car that has not been winter driven. The underside of the car still Has red paint on it. It has always been rust protected. The garnet red paint shines beautifully. This was my favorite color for the car and our family has owned this car for over 18 years. Paint and body is very nice, not perfect, there are a couple blemishes but a nice driver. Mileage is 107,000 Miles o(or 171,000 kms).It was appraised several years ago at CDN $ 9,000 The car shows stock but has a few improvements. 5.0 L high output V-8 engine has had polished and ported upper and lower intakes, performance roller rockers and rocker shafts installed, K & N filter, shorty headers, high flow catalytics, Flowmasters with stainless steel tips. Accel Performance 8.8 MM wires, Accel Performance Distributor cap and rotor. I run the car on Premium 94 octane gas and use Mobile 1 SAE 10W30 fully synthetic oil. The transmission professionally overhauled and the 2 piece input shaft was replaced with a billet one piece shaft with 8 pack automatic clutch pack, upgraded overdrive gear and 2400 stall converter, trans shift kit.It will chirp the tires in to 2nd gear. Cost was almost $3000.00 to build and install. I have the receipts. The air suspension on the car is original and in excellent working order. (Have Owners manuals and Lincoln leather folder, Lincoln shop manual on CD-rom and Mark VII original sales brochure)This car runs and drives and had a valid sticker until Nov 2015. We drove this through Vermont and upstate NY last summer and it was a great drive !***Air Conditioning is fully charged yet compressor does not engage unless you manually jump it. Not sure why. Power mirrors require replacement switch on console which I will include. Aftermarket stereo has been removed and the factory on has been reinstalled however speaker s are not hooked back up. I will also include the aftermarket Pioneer CD player if you want it and want to put it back in yourself. Tires have lots of tread but as car has had limited mileage over the past 10 years, there is some sidewall cracking.
Car # 2) is a 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC Special Edition coupe in Garnet Red metallic with black interior. It is a complete car and does run but DOES NOT DRIVE. 5.0L H.O. V-8 Automatic. Engine has 200,000+ miles and still runs great, but the transmission leaks and slips. THE CAR IS NOT DRIVEABLE IN CURRENT CONDITION. The air suspension lines has been cut and the car now sits on wood blocks for rear suspension. It is otherwise complete and will start, runs very smoothly and has good black leather interior. Seat, windows, mirrors and other power options all appear to be working. The car does have some rust starting in the rockers and floor underneath but the body panels are decent, Good doors hood and fenders, trunk lid starting to bubble at the bottom. the body is repairable. The car has been kept outside and covered over. factory sunroof and 16" BBS rims. The car is complete and still has all the original Special Edition trim, grille etc. Potentially the car is saveable and buildable, however, if you were looking to convert your LSC in to a special edition, you have everything you need to bolt right in, and a nice black leather interior.
Car # 3) is a 1991 Lincoln LSC and is black on black. Doors, hood and trunk are all good panels but the underside of the car has serious rust. Rockers are pretty much gone. This was a year round driver apparently and winter has taken its toll to the underside. The car has already had parts taken off, there is no front bumper, exhaust, tail lights center console, keyless entry panel, or instrument cluster. The car does run and drive, but is not complete or ready for the road. The engine and transmission are both good. 125000 miles. 5.0L H.O. V-8, with good AOD transmission. Air suspension is also good. 15” aluminum wheels and tires. Decent black leather bucket seats, really nice back seat, headliner and interior panels. Dash has cracking. This would make a great parts car or a perfect donor for a Fox Body Drive train including 8.8 rear and 4 wheel disc brakes. Potentially this car has working drivetrain and Air suspension for the 1991 Special Edition car if you wanted to do the work
