1948 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet Description
PLEASE CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS! INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! I can be reached at(76O) 805-8O38or at the shop at (858)755-5O44 Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a very rare (one of452 produced in 48), affordable, and unique 1948 Lincoln Continental Convertible that has been in dry storage in Southern California since 1970. Everybody loves this car. It has the original V-12 and three speed manual transmission. The car is a very solidsouthern CA example. The floorboards and frame are excellent. The body is straight. It has resided in San Diego, California for years. Since the car has been stored for so long, I have only fired the car by dumping gas directly into the carburetor and it did fire right up. I would want to flush the fuel system beforerunning it for any extended period and it also needs the brakes gone through. It could certainly use paint if you want a show car again, but personally I would leave it exactly as it sits and just have fun. The chrome is the same way. Brand new Coker Wide White Walls. The top is in decent condition. It has the Continental kit on the back. Thered interioris in decent condition and very original. It looks fine for a driver. My price is very reasonable. It is priced so even if you want to invest a ton of money into a classic or make a killer Hot Rod, you will not be buried in the car and can have top down cruising with your family and friends for years. This is an extremely cool Barn Find, very original car! I am located in Solana Beach, California near San Diego.HAVE SOME FUN THIS SUMMER! Thanks and good luck!
