These pictures are from 2012.I will post up close, urrent pictures on Feb 28, 016. For 29 years my neighbor stored this Lincoln in his heated garage, overed. June 14, 011, purchased the vehicle and we started it to road test. He had only started the Lincoln once a year while in storage and it started right up. It still starts and runs fine when you drop a shot glass of gas in the carb.
After the engine, he transmission shifts, he brakes are weak, he vacuum system than runs many of the vehicles controls, entilation, ower locks, ipers, tc. is non functional. Motors for power windows, ents & antenna run, ut the (plastic?) gears do not operate. All move freely by hand.
The leather interior is dry, racked, ut still smells like leather. Carpeting is dry rotted, nd the floor above the muffler on the passenger side is rusted through.
The original owner of the vehicle was a retired woman from Tyrone, A. Her nephew bought the vehicle 1979, ad it painted, rove it several years, hen my neighbor bought it and placed it in storage.
I purchased the car for $6000 in 2011 without knowledge of Lincoln technology and restoration. I own three other fully operational classics and am downsizing, o the Lincoln goes first. Bring a rollback.
