1957 Lincoln Premiere Description

Listing for a family friend, but can answer all questions and/or put seriously interested buyers in contact with the owner. The car is currently located close to Charleston, South Carolina.

From the sellers:

45k original miles

Southern California car

Solid, no rust

Power everything- seats, windows, steering, brakes

Automatic Headlight dimmer

Current owner bought in 2013 and has since:

Rebuilt transmission

New Torque Converter

Rebuilt steering box and power steering pump

New headliner

Oil pan gasket

Fixed power window motor

Rebuilt generator, new pulley

The good:

Current owner has done a lot of work to get the car back to being a reliable driver. Car is smooth, powerful, and comfortable.

Being a Southern California car all its life until current owner, the car has a solid body and frame with no concerning rust. Currently stored in a climate controlled garage.

The car looks good and runs well as is, but is a great, solid, complete candidate for a restoration.

The bad:

Paint is OK on all the major surfaces, but previous owner did not repaint engine bay and door jambs. Has a few small nicks here and there, but has a nice presence and looks very good.

The padded dash is deflated under the aftermarket dash mat. The vinyl has held up, but the foam under it has collapsed.

The plastic on the steering wheel has shrunk. It has a nice patina and is intact, but it does not look new.

The radio and clock do not work.
