1966 Lincoln Continental Description

PLEASE FULLY READ THE LISTING AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. IT COST MONEY TO LIST VEHICLES AND I WISH NOT TO WASTE IT WITH SOMEONE BACKING OUT AFTER PURCHASE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THERE IS NOT PHYSICAL TITLE WITH THIS VEHICLE. JUST A NOTARIZED BILL OF SALE. TITLE IS CLEAR BUT, DO NOT HAVE IT IN HAND. WILL GUIDE BUYER HOW TO GET IT IF NEEDED.
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. FINAL BID WINS.
This is a 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. This is a piece of American history. That being said, his is a PROJECT car that will need a lot of TLC. I purchased the vehicle with intentions of restore/restomodding it. I have since lost interest and would like to part it to someone who enjoys and appreciates the history behind these beauties.
The vehicle has a good amount of rust underneath and the floor pans are completely rotted out as you can see by the pictures. That being said, he rear seat floors and in good shape along with the transmission tunnel. Please do a little research in what is needed to restore this convertible if you have the intentions of doing so. A donor 4 door sedan may be a great alternative in parts.
The seats will need attention but, re all in tact with no rips or tears. As for the convertible top, hen hooked to a battery, he rear trunk lifts flawlessly and shuts/locks as it should. You can hear the convertible top motor working but the top does not move. There seems to be no hydraulic fluid in the reservoirs so this may be the cost. Vehicle will need a good amount of electrical work. The engine has not been turned over by hand but, he vehicle does roll in neutral.
This convertible was originally red with white interior. You can't get any more classic american then that. I do have the keys for the vehicle.
PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CAREFULLY AND DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS.
I WELCOME ANYONE TO COME LOOK AT THE VEHICLE BEFORE BIDDING
PLEASE BID IF YOU HAVE THE MEANS FOR PAYMENT AND TRANSPORTATION. ONCE AGAIN, HESE AUCTIONS ARE NOT CHEAP IF SOMEONE BACKS OUT AFTER PURCHASE.
LASTLY, WILL BE CLEAR THAT I DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL TITLE IN HAND. I WILL BE GIVING THE BUYER A NOTARIZED BILL OF SALE. THE TITLE IS CLEAN WITH NO LIENS AND THE HISTORY IS CLEAN AS WELL. THERE WILL BE NO ISSUES ACQUIRING THE TITLE. I WILL BE GLAD TO HELP THE WINNER THROUGH THIS PROCESS.
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. HIGHEST BIDDER WINS. GOOD LUCK !
