Introduced in 1976, the Esprit was a sleek, mid engined sports car produced by Lotus. Designed by the famous Italian designer, Giugiaro, the Esprit was an immediate hit and went on to be featured in a number of publicity stunts, the most famous of which was its role as a submarine car driven by James Bond. The car was specially ordered new in Ohio and features Bright Red paint over Dove Grey leather. The exterior is in fabulous shape and the interior is just as clean as it left the factory. The exterior features a rear spoiler, 16in alloy wheels, and a dove grey pinstripe. This Esprit features a potent 2.2L turbocharged 4 cylinder that is said to produce around 280hp and can propel the car to over 160mph. Its mated to an easy to use 5-speed manual transmission.
