--What it needs--
-Exhaust- I piecemealed one from scraps I had around the garage just so it isn't dumping right out the headers. It scrapes pulling out the driveway, definitely needs a better one installed.
-Connect power steering- New GM PS pump is installed on the engine and plumed to the rack, but a pressure reducer fitting needs to be installed to match the operating pressure of the Mazda rack. (I have a link to the part) The pump pulley is bypassed so it can be driven as is without the pump turning. I have a suspicion that the rack seals are/were blown out so an extra PS rack, lines, and Mazda pump come with it. I would suggest swapping the rack (1hr job) and using the Granny's speed shop adapter bracket to use the Mazda pump on a Chevy Engine. (~$50)
-Convertible Top. There is one installed, but there are plenty of holes. I glued on marine grade canvas as a temporary solution in the event I was ever caught out in the rain. I have before & after pics.
-Keys. The car is wired up to start off switches installed on a blanking plate where the radio normally would be. The car has no keys and should not be locked. (Fuel door and trunk do open/function)
--Description--
This is a driving project car that I purchased back in March 2016 with the V8 already swapped in. I'm selling to get another bike. It starts, runs, and stops all under its own power however the stock gauges do not work. The company site that makes the engine cradle kit has complete instructions on how to get them working. (Can provide a link) I have only taken it around the block a few times as a shakedown run to test a new fix or installed part. From what I can see I have not come across anything that is "obviously unsafe" that would keep someone from driving it home, but like with any used car you do so at your own risk. (Keep in mind no power steering and bootleg exhaust!) It has some rust, dings, and scratches that any 29 year old car has, and have tried to capture all of them in the pics. If you want more of a specific area or place just let me know. I sprayed it (5/27/17) with three gallons of PlastiDip followed by some spray wax to make it less "rubbery" feeling and have a nice satin finish. Tires have about 30% tread left, hold air, but are starting to show dry cracks.
Possible trades are fuel injected motorcycles, 2000+ regular cab short bed V8 trucks, or Datsuns
