1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata Roadster Description

Up for auction I have my Lady friends 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata. It has never been in accident and has had no paintwork other than some extremely minor touch up using the original classic red color on a couple of very minor scratches on the left front fender that happened the first week of ownership. There are a couple of additional very minor imperfections to the body as well that would not show up in pictures but I prefer to disclose them up front so there is no surprises. They DO NOT include any paint damage and they are very difficult to see unless you know exactly where they are. The car is a 9.5 on a 10 scale to be sure! In fact, the paint is in exceptional condition and it looks as deep and shiny as the day it was new. The interior is in excellent condition and shows no wear or tears of any kind. The top is in excellent condition with the rear window still completely intact and no signs of compromise. My friend was a Miata Club Member and fanatic and the car shows a ton of pride in ownership! She purchased it brand new on 10/26/1990 in Coraopolis, Pa. She had Ziebart perform new vehicle underbody sound barrier, paint protection and fabric protection on 11/16/1990. The wheels are powder coated white which results in a lot of compliments and causes a lot of heads to turn! She purchased a fitted full car cover, canopy (cloth sunscreen cover) and 2 seating compartment tonneau covers that are included with the car! There are hundreds and more than likely thousands of dollars worth of spare parts included with the car. including car covers, tonneau covers, 3 sets of spark plugs, plug wires, Koni shocks, fuel filter,oil filters, air filters, Mazda original equipment power mirrors that she had installed, then removed when the car cover would not fit properly,choosingto have the original folding mirrors re-installed. She had a powerantennainstalled as well due to the car cover (most people would have just poked a hole in the car cover for theantenna mast but, not her)! She also had an Amp installed to boost the sound as well! The car has been meticulously maintained since new and there is plenty of documentation to support it. At 50,535 miles she our areas foremast Mazda Expert install a new timing belt,water pump, cam and crank seals, valve cover gasket and other items. She had BG service performed at that time on the cooling system and brakes. BG warrants all related parts and components for 30k miles and that warranty is transferrable! She also had a brand new set of Michelin Pilots installed at 48k miles as well as a brand new battery and wiper blades installed about 2 months ago!The car was driven sparingly on the nicest of Pa. days from 10/26/1990 until 04/30/2009, never seeing snow or rain. In fact, she only drove it a total of 47k miles during those 19 years! She had it shipped from Pa. to Sarasota Fl. in April of 2009. In the days since retiring to Florida, the car has only been driven 6,395 miles over the past nearly 7 years. It has always been garaged or, at the very least covered completely with a fitted car cover that is included with all of the extras! I don't know what else to say. I will not disclose the reserve to anyone however, I will tell you that it is very reasonable considering comps of previously sold units in similar condition with much higher mileage and all that is included with it! I will not accept any funds via paypal for deposit or payment in full. I will accept a bank check, wire transfer or cash if the next owner prefers to pick the car uppersonally. The winning bidder must send a $1,000.00 deposit within 48 hours of auction end. I will not allow transfer of ownership or transportation of the vehicle until the entire amount is paid in full and has has cleared my bank. I don't anticipate any more miles being put on it but, in the event someone shows up to inspect and drive it, there is always the possibility that the odometer will reflect a few additional miles.
